I Took A Loan to Buy A Writing Account.

Overview

My name is Charles Gitonga. I live in Umoja Lii Nairobi, Kenya. On the 22nd of July 2014, I did something many would consider stupid. I took a $468 loan to buy an academic writing account. It is a decision I have lived to regret. Reason being today as I write this I have only been able to repay 40% of the loan. That is after close to four years of what I thought was going to be a successful business venture.

Academic Writing Accounts on sale.

This was the plan, buy a writing account with a consistent flow of work and make a tone of money. At the time of making the decision to buy the writing account, I was writing on Iwriter. If you have ever worked on Iwriter you know how hard it is to initially make sustainable money.  In the Kenyan spirit of always being a go-getter, my Iwriter account was now at the Elite Plus level. With this kind of rating my weekly earnings were as high as $150 dollars and as low as $20 depending on the situation.
It is at this point that I decided enough was enough. It was time to now pay in the big league. A friend of mine ‘Lewis’-not his real name was one of the many Kenyans who had made it into the big leagues. Lewis had bought a Uvocorp account back in 2012 and was always bragging to me about how he made $1,500 per month. If Lewis could do it there was no way I could not do it.
I set my eyes on an averagely used account. Its asking price, $60,000. Place of purchase a Facebook Group that purports to sell high-quality writing accounts. True to their word I acquired an essaywriter.net account that had a rating of seven. It just happened that I did my purchasing timing wrong. July happens to coincide with summer breaks in most parts of the world. The end result is I had to wait until the end of September to start earning even a Penny from my newly acquired account. –From the word go, circumstances forced me to default the loan-
Come September the money started trickling in but not in the way I expected. Instead of $1,500 that I expected an average of $400 is what I made through online writing. Truth be told part of the reason for the failure lies with me. I did not scale up as expected and consequently made less. The idea was to put together a team of aggressive writers who would ensure an adequate return on investment. I realized a little bit too late that getting people with the right writing skills is harder than I thought. The last nail in the coffin was when my account was closed in late 2017. This is when I decided, to hell with the loan. Current loan status “late.”

In case you still want to buy an online writing account on loan.

Getting a mobile loan is a thing in many parts of the world. You could borrow a loan from this platforms. The problem is the repayment period is usually too short. With your investment of choice being academic writing you will have trouble repaying the loan. My platform of choice was Zidisha.org. Zidisha is an international nonprofit loan providing organization. Getting a loan with them is as easy as filling an online form and quickly building up a credible credit history. No collateral, no bank account, and most important no unnecessary pestering. Just a plain and simple process. For my case, I was to repay the loan on a weekly basis for 31 months.
I am tempted to say you should not take a loan to buy a writing account. But these are desperate economic times. You have to do what you have to do to earn a living. Perhaps you will have better lack. If so, don’t forget to share your story with me.
